CSI Announces New Company President

SPRINGFIELD, MO—Central States Industrial Equipment and Service, Inc. (CSI) of Springfield, Missouri, is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Reynolds as the new president of the company.

Mark Cook, CEO of CSI, announced the appointment of Reynolds as part of the company’s growth strategy. “CSI has always maintained a strong infrastructure and leadership team. This change is part of the solid footing customers have trusted for 38 years,” said Cook.

Reynolds is a CPA who served as CFO of CSI from 1992 to 2007. He then took a position as VP - CFO at Digital Monitoring Products, also in Springfield, MO. In 2013 Joe returned to CSI as Vice President.

As CEO of CSI, Cook’s primary focus will be business development. He will continue to grow the company’s core strengths: distribution and custom process solutions.

“Joe and I share the same goals and vision for CSI,” said Cook. “Our focus is to increase customer satisfaction, maintain high employee morale, and achieve excellent financial results.”

Founded in 1977 by Jim and Shirley Cook, CSI provides design, custom fabrication and distribution of stainless steel products for the sanitary processing industries including food, dairy, personal care, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology. CSI employs 140 people. In addition to the Springfield headquarters, distribution facilities are located in Fresno, California and Durham, North Carolina.
