Line Orifices
Line orifices provide a 3-A sanitary and fully-drainable means of adjusting process flow rate, balancing backflow, equalizing pressure, and recovering more of your valuable product.
When product reaches the orifice plate, it is forced through the hole and converges creating a change in pressure and velocity. The orifice causes an increased velocity, which means decreased pressure.
Established in 1972 as a polishing company for the food and dairy industry, Stainless Products (SPI) has evolved into a full-line manufacturer of fittings, valves, pumps, and accessories for all sanitary process industries.

- Decrease pressure to a piece of equipment that can't handle the full system pressure
- Provide required backflow to prevent pump cavitation, starvation, or motor overload and kick out
