Coronavirus Response

Updated as of September 13, 2020

To Our Valued Customers and Partners:

Amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continued pandemic we want to update you on actions taken by CSI to maintain business operations. CSI has a robust continuity plan and starting in early 2020 we implemented precautionary measures, in accordance with guidance from appropriate governmental authorities, to ensure the health and well-being of our customers, suppliers, employees, and their families.

As defined by Department of Homeland Security’s general guidelines, CSI is considered an “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce” and therefore is open for business and will maintain normal business hours. We are committed to serving our customers under these challenging circumstances from all CSI’s locations. We have instituted several policies to reduce business interruption and the risk of potential virus transmission, notably:

  • Communication: CSI's Safety Department is monitoring the appropriate governmental agencies to stay up to date on COVID-19 outbreaks and related area responses for each CSI site location. Any updates affecting our business will be relayed immediately to CSI leadership, which we, in turn, will share with our customers. CSI is ready to engage Disaster Recovery (DR) and Crisis Management plans as required.
  • Protect Employees: We implemented a face covering requirement in common areas and strict cleaning procedures in accordance with CDC guidelines within CSI’s facilities. All guests are required to wear a face covering while at a CSI facility. Any employee having been exposed to the virus or is not feeling well is paid to quarantine. Part of protecting employees is utilizing our existing IT infrastructure for remote work, which includes tools to communicate with each other, our customers, and suppliers. Our employees continue to be available to connect with you by phone, video messaging, and email, whether they are working at a CSI location or remotely.
  • Travel Restrictions: We have instituted travel restrictions, except for business-critical activities to meet customer needs, and mandated self-isolation for any team member showing symptoms, or who have reason to believe they have been exposed to the virus. Employees visiting customer and partner facilities have information regarding personal hygiene best practices, including handwashing and social distancing as referenced by the CDC.
  • Supply Chain Management: CSI is continually monitoring the supply chain for potential impact to our product offering and support of customer’s projects. We are in close communication with key suppliers as well as common carriers to ensure timely delivery of product. Based on our significant inventory levels of product and CSI’s available production capacity we do not anticipate disruptions in the short-term.

This release contains forward-looking statements based on current expectations of foreseen circumstances and will be updated should our ability to perform change.
